It was early morning. The sun was out, the sky was blue, and a thick, dark aura surrounded the corner of class B-1. There, a young boy with jet-black "duck" hair was staring out the window. His head was propped up by the palm of his right hand. The boy was wearing the normal academy uniform, which the role player really doesn't care to describe. On his head were two black cat eats. Just below where his belt was, a long, thin, black cat tail was there. On the boy's desk was a black cat with an 'x' on its head. The cat was curled up, apparently fast asleep. The boy sighed, his right black ear twitching. The middle schooler's pitch-black eyes showed no emotion as a girl slipped a note onto his desk. The boy picked up the note, not even looking at it, and tore it in two, crumbling it and tossing it onto the classroom floor. The girl who had just given him the not whimpered. The boy propped his head on his right arm again before locking his eyes on the sky.

Another boy sat at his desk at the back of the room, not looking all too different from the 'duck'-haired boy. Well, uniform-wise. In fact he looked the complete opposite of him. His hair was bright blond, cut short and spiked up in an unkempt manner. His head lay on his crossed arms, and he just kind of.... Stared at the front of the room. Two fox-ears protruded out of the spiky jumble of hair, sitting at a relaxed angle, while a bushy fox-tail hung limply over the side of his chair. He looked... Kind of bored.
One of his large ears twitched at the slight sound of paper ripping, and his blue gaze flickered over to the black-haired boy. Hm. That's... He thought for a second before his name came to him. Sasuke Uchiha? He shook his head slightly, still looking at the other boy. He never could understand him. All the girls fawned over him... But he never accepted their notes or complied to a date. Humph. Oh well.
Near the boy's feet lay a fox, it's glorious fur bright scarlet whilst his nine-tails swished lazily about him. He never opened his eyes once, just staying curled up over his 'friend's' feet. Heh. Maybe he could trip the dim-witted blond when he tried to get up... Maybe it would cause some excitement in this drab classroom.
Suddenly the fox stood, seeming to glare right at the Uchiha boy. He growled bad-temperedly and started to stalk over, lashing one of his tails and he stopped at the edge of the boy's desk. He leaped up easily, standing on his desk, right in front of his face. Then he just glared at him, his crimson eyes angry.
The boy sat up, watching the fox anxiously. At it's just plain rude glaring at Sasuke, he sighed. "Nee.... Kyuubi-san... Can't you save it for later?" he muttered, standing up and walking over to the little fox that sat, perched, on Uchiha's desk. "Sorry." he said, dipping his head and hiding his eyes apologetically.

The Uchiha boy blinked and stared, without any emotion, at the nine-tailed chibi familiar that was growling at him. The black Bombay neko took his left hand, raised it up, and flicked the demon familiar on its black nose. Sasuke blinked again, shifting his head's possition in his hand to where his black eyes were staring at the face of the kitsune-jin infront of him. The neko sighed, adverting his gaze to glare at a crowd of girls off towards the front of the room who were swooning over him... And, they were apparently muttering curses of how the demon kitsune-jin shouldn't be talking to their beloved Sasuke. His glare instantly shut the girls up. The boy looked back over to the yellow-haired kitsune-jin infront of him. "It's all right, dobe..." Sasuke didn't care to try and remember the name of the Kitsune-jin. All of the names and faces of the students in class B-1 had blurred together in his mind. He couldn't even remember the teacher's name, not that he cared. So, the Uchiha settled with calling the Kitsune-jin dobe.
The black Bombay familiar beside Sasuke on the desk looked up from his nap. his eyes were slit, and he was glaring directly at the Kyuubi on the desk. "Who invited the nine-tailed freak of nature familiar up here?" X hissed in a low voice, flicking his black tail.
Sasuke's left hand was instantly above the cat familiar's head, coming down only to bop it on the X on the cat's forehead. "That's enough out of you, X." The black neko glared at his familiar. If the dobe was offended by what Sasuke's familiar said to his familiar, then the kitsune-jin would probably go Kyuubi on him. Let's just hope he doesn't...
X flinched, his black ears flattening against his head, when Sasuke's hand bopped him hard on his x scar. "Fine, fine... I'll behave..." The familiar glared at the other familiar once more before shifting his possition, making his head face towards the window. The familiar was asleep in moments.
ooc: keh! one word longer than your post above! :3

Kyuubi growled angrily. "Familiar? Pah!" His voice was cold yet amused at the same time. He was tempted to bite the cat's paw off as he swatted his nose... But sinstead lashed a few more of his tails, his anger only building.
The kitsune-jin frowned. "Kyuubi-san..." he muttered, easily avoiding the glares most of the girls in their class shot at him. His tail waved once then fell limp, showing the slightest sign of acknowledgment to them. He looked up as Sasuke called him a dobe. A dobe. "I am not a dobe!" he protested, his voice louder and slightly angry. He was consumed in the fact that the other boy had called him a dobe, almost not catching how Sasuke bopped his familiar on his head. "I'm Naruto Uzumaki! Not a dobe!" Not that he expected the popular boy to know his name, but still! He declared it loudly so that anyone in the room could hear. Except the teacher, who was... Gone somewhere.
He growled and reached out to pick up his familiar, but the fox simply snorted and jumped off the desk, stalking proudly over to the Kitsune's chair and curling up, glaring silently at the two boys.
OOC: MEH HE! XD And I was totally museless. XD

Sasuke rolled his eyes, a bored, emotionless look on his face. "Tsk. You're still a dobe, dobe..." The black bombay neko's black eyes flicked to the entrance of class B-1. The teacher still wasn't here, not that he cared. In fact, he could live without this pathetic school. A school for neko-jin, kitsune-jin, usagi-jin, tori-jin, and inu-jin... Who ever heard of that? Well, besides the students who were forced to attend this school. Sasuke's tail flicked when a fly took a short rest on it.
X glared at the nine-tailed chibi fox as it left. Good riddens... The familiar's yellow-ish eyes blinked as his jaws opened wide in a yawn. He hated mornings.
ooc: my muse died... also, it was Sasuke who flicked the Kyuubi's nose. X just glared and hissed at him.

OOC: Oooooh. XD
Naruto lashed his bushy tail. "Baka," he muttered under his breath, tempted to grab Sasuke by his throat for calling him a dobe. "I am not a dobe." he insisted, his voice a small growl. Geez! He'd have to run for his life by the time the bell rang; the girls in his class looked mad. Seriously mad. He rolled her eyes. Peh! Who cares about their precious Sasuke! Sasuke-kun this...Sasuke-kun that.... Ugh! It makes me sick... I'm way better than this stuck up kid!
He balled his hands into loose fists and glanced warily at the mob of girls glaring at him. He gave the tiniest flinch before staring back down at Sasuke. He was normally much shorter than everyone else... But eh.
Kyuubi caught X's glare and returned it, twice as hostile and menacing as the neko's familiar's gaze. "Try me," he barked through his clenched teeth.

The black Bombay neko grunted, shooting a glare at the mob of girls who were now trying to inch closer. To Sasuke, girls were nothing but trouble, expessially the ones who go to Lore Academy. The Uchiha boy twitched his black neko ears at the Uzumaki boy's response. The twelve-year-old moved his gaze from the kitsune-jin to the door. There, the teacher was finally coming in, and the bell rang once she closed the door. The neko's ears twitched again as the students headed back to their desks, their familiars close behind. "This is getting annoying. Dobe, you might want to go back to your seat before sensei gets on to you." His dull black eyes stared at the yellow-haired kitsune-jin, waiting for either another response or for him to go back to his desk.
X lightly jumped off of the desk. He knew that his master would need space to work. The black Bombay familiar softly hissed at the nine-tailed familiar. "I don't need to try you... At least I'm not a chibi." X glared at the chibi fox, twitching his tail. The cat flinched again as Sasuke lightly kicked him to make him shut up.

The Uzumaki boy shrugged. "Still not a dobe," he muttered, casting a defiant glare at the teacher before stalking back to his desk. He crossed his arms and put his head down, scowling towards Sasuke. Jeez! All he ever did was... Be... Perfect. Well, that's what everyone else thought... To Naruto he just looked lonely. Lonely? I must be going crazy.... he thought bitterly, shaking his head.
Kyuubi growled in response. "At least I wasn't small from the start," he retorted, a sly grin coming over his features.

The teacher started to speak after a few minutes. The first subject was math. The black Bombay neko sighed. He was great at every subject, but he absolutely hated math. It was boring, pointless, and idiotic. Why did the adults make them learn such a pointless subject? Well, apparently, it was supposed to help in your future job. Pfft. Like they were allowed to leave Trace, thus not being able to find the perfect job. Sasuke sighed, his black neko ears twitching every now and again. The boy didn't care about the main subjects: Math, Science, History, Japanese, and Reading. All he really cared about was PE. The young Uchiha shifted his bored gaze from the teacher to the window once again, staring off into the distance. If the teacher called on him, he could easily answer the question given. He didn't need to listen.
The bombay familiar beneath the desk glared at Kyuubi, his yellow eyes slitted like always. Baka.
ooc: no muse. D: Sorry for the wait.

Naruto sank down in his seat as the teacher finally walked in. He hated school. He wasn't good at any of the subjects.... Not even P. E.! However hard he tried he was always shown up.... His blue gaze flitted to the Bombay-Neko-Jin. By Sasuke. That show-off was always doing better than him! It was like he was trying to make him mad all the time! And... He didn't even pay attention! Look at him now, he was staring off into space! He growled under his breath and turned his head away. No way was Sasuke better than him! He just came from a family who actually wanted him! He'd had a big brother and everything!
Kyuubi looked up at his... What should he call him, a pet? Yeah, he'd go for that. "You're embarrassing me with all your pouting, Naruto-baka." he growled.

ooc: this post is going to fail... ><;
The black-haired boy shifted his dull black eyes again to the teacher. Their teacher was righting some long equation that he hoped everyone else would be able to solve it. The equation was pretty simple. Even if it was long and... Confusing, anyone with a mind could tell that it equaled three thousand five hundred seventy-eight. Sasuke sighed. The teacher didn't call on him, thankfully. Instead, the teacher called on the Kitsuke-Jin with the annoying chibi familiar. He's probably going pick a random number that is far from the correct answer. The thought of the Kitsune-Jin picking the wrong answer, as always, made the black Bombay neko-jin slightly smirk, but he covered it up by moving the hand that he rested his chin on.
ooc: Yup, it failed. D:

Naruto's ears flicked up at the teacher's voice. "Er, two-thousand eighty?" he guessed, knowing the number was in the thousands just from one look. Several snickers told him he was wrong, and he flattened his ears, an embarrassed blush staining his cheeks.
Kyuubi growled, his fur bristling at the snickers. He heard several voices whispering to each other. "Naruto-san is such an idiot!" one girl chimed. Another nodded. "Yeah. Why doesn't he just go and die or something? He's not good at anything..." His ears pricked and he snarled softly. Wishing death on someone simply because of their ignorance was not the solution... Though... Slight shame burned his pelt. It was something he'd do. But then... He looked up at Naruto, noticing the boy had heard every word and had set his head on the desk, hiding his eyes. Is he angry? thought Kyuubi, one of his tails waving.

ooc: meh. I'm bored of classes. XD LUNCH TIME!
It was nearing noon, and the sky was starting to darken with the clouds that had snuck in while they were finishing their current subject: History. Everyone knew what was going on, hopefully. They taught the same thing every year. The black neko's years twitched as the school bell rang, signalling that it was time for lunch. Lunch was the second best time of the day. The first best? The time where they could leave this dump for the rest of the day. Many people rushed to head down to the cafeteria. Sasuke, on the other hand, just picked up his bag, which held his lunch that he made, and slowly got out of his chair. He sighed with annoyance as a group of girls rushed over to him. They were asking him to eat with them at lunch. He simply said "no" with a lot of annoyance in his voice. He shoved his way through the group of girls, X following right behind him. He passed the yellow-haired kitsune-jin, twitching his tail as he passed, and slid out of the class door. He turned right instead of left. Turning left took you to other classes and the cafeteria. Turning right took you to other classes and the stairs that took you to the roof. His ears twitched every so often as he walked. A dull, bored look was still plastered on his face. Many girls tried to stop him and talk to him, but he simply just ignored them. He reached the stairs in only a few minutes, and he started to climb them. After a few more minutes, he was on the roof. It was pretty... Flat and empty, making it a great place for him to eat in peace. On the sides of the roof, there were tall chain-link fences, most-likely to keep students from falling off the roof. Sasuk sighed, strolling over to on of the ledges, sitting on it, leaning back against the fence, and staring up at the sky. Clouds were still rolling in, and they promissed a storm. The neko's black eyes blinked while he stared. He didn't feel like eating just yet. He had a full hour before class started again, so he might as well enjoy the silence.
ooc: -flails- I couldn't think of what to post.

Naruto hissed in annoyance as Sasuke completely ignored the girls that flocked to him. Why not take the chance? Why not eat lunch with them? He'd give anything to be as popular as Sasuke! He stood, grabbing his own lunch. He was going to follow the neko-jin. And see what the heck his problem was!
He reached down, letting Kyuubi jump onto his shoulder. "Can you tell me where he went?" he muttered to the fox. The animal looked offended. "Of course, Naruto-baka! Do you think I have the nose of one of those domestic familiars that sit around all day in their own feces?"
Blue eyes blinked back at him. "No. Just asking," he muttered, rolling his eyes at the orange familiar as he got up and started towards the door. Kyuubi pointed him in the right direction, despite the fact that the neko's familiar had taunted him earlier. Probably just showing me how good his nose is again, Naruto thought, annoyed.
Finally they reached the roof, and the fox leaped off his shoulder to land with a muted thud on the cement, his paws neatly catching him and preventing him from falling. With a swish of his white-tipped tail, the kitsune-jin stalked towards Sasuke.. He stood in front of him for a moment, his face angry. "Hey Sasuke," he growled, his tone scathing and slightly envious.
